Default Petition to bring back the hippopotamus.

Who doesn't want that big, sqooshy, adorable little rascal as a pet? I heard it was removed due to graphical problems, but can't that be fixed? o_O

Anyways...what did we get in return? A hideous little reptile that is supposedly a crocodile. Nobody wants those...seriously.

If it was removed because of a graphical problem, why put resources forward to fix it? They have literally nothing to gain by putting the hippopotamus back into the game.

To tired to flame. Although really, I don't see any reason to waste Anets time just so I can have a bunch of /petname "Hungry"s running around.

How about having a HIPPO and a CROC in the game at the same time. Who says we have to remove the croc to put in a hippo?

There are plenty of pets spanning all sorts of families in the animal kingdom. You're bound to find something you like among the spiders, big cats, wolves, birds, hogs, reptiles, and so on. If not, maybe beastmaster ranger isn't the build for you. :P

A hippo might be fun, but obviously the technical disadvantages outweighed the benefits, or we'd still have them in the game. So, /notsigned. At this point I'd rather Anet worked on real balance/tech issues or gave us more content than struggled to squeeze in another animal that didn't work the first time around and only one class can enjoy.

(Well, okay. Two of you count MMs. XD)

It would beat all the "Ghostly Hero" pets running around.

/not signed.

Anet has other stuff to do, sorry. Would be nice, though.

To be honest, i'd perfer them throwing caution to the wind, and telling the Asian community to shut up, and bring back the Panda. ^^ Because face it, us casual gamers are never gonna get the mini pet version.
